It is so rare that a hunting outfitter meets all my criteria so well, as I have become accustomed to experiencing some deficiencies in either the lodging, food, quality of guides or availability of game over the decades. Because of these deficiencies, I started working with Lindsey Maas at NRA Outdoors which recently has become Outdoor Solutions as the first filter in seeking a quality hunt. Would like to recommend TC Outfitters for your future hunts. I spent the last 7 days, from October 15th through October 21st hunting with Charles Coker and Steve Thomas, of TC Outfitters out of Del Rio, Texas hunting for trophy whitetail, axis and blackbuck. For me TC Outfitters exceed my expectations in so many ways. First, this was the first hunt that we introduced our grandson (both grandfathers) to hunting…Texas style. The care and warmth that Charles, Steve and Candi showed my grandson Jake (just turned 5 years old) was very gratifying. They took him and with his dad jackrabbit hunting on the dirt roads, Charles even took a heater along when he, his dad and Charles took their first stand hunting whitetail deer. Secondly, the food that was provided by both Candi and Steve far exceeds that of any other hunting camp that I have been to. Third, the lodging in general was the best and cleanest I have ever experienced. Fourth, the rooms were good sized, clean, attractively decorated and above all the beds were comfortable. Fifth, the guide (Steve) provided to me was very competent and professional. Finally, the availability of game literally boggled my mind, I hate to write this down since I taught about keeping this fact a secret for next year. In summary, we appreciated the attention shown to our group by TC Outfitters and fully intend coming back to continue the tradition and would be honored to provided reference to anyone requiring same.
