My son and I went to the youth hunt in 2016. I put money down on a future hunt hoping to come back. No signed contract just out of good faith. I could not make it back to Hadley Creek because of a health condition. I asked them to return my money and they wouldn’t. I also asked about purchasing property in 2016 and they never responded to me. I think it was because of the way I look. I think they’re a good old boys club that pick and choose who they want to shoot the deer that they bait into stands. I believe if they don’t like you...that’s it...you’re not gonna shoot a deer. I believe they also save certain spots for certain clients. My question would be to them is....if it wasn’t the way I looked then WHY was I not approached or responded to with several calls about purchasing property like you guys were trying to sell when I was there in 2016. It was so obvious what these people are all about. They have been fined by the Illinois Department of natural resources for illegal baiting. They died corn to change the color so it can’t be detected on the ground and put it out for the deer next to there stands.That shows there true colors. Crooks. Be careful when booking or buying into their crooked organization.
