The hunting was tough. Warm weather, lack of bugling. hunting pressure ahead of the general season all seemed to have contributed to slow hunting and lack of options. Still some elk were seen and one nice bull was killed in camp. Ross, his father and the rest of the guides worked hard. The camp was well organized and nicely located. Jess kept everyone well fed and the plotts hanging around camp were a welcome addition. Do I wish the hunting was better? For sure, however the effort put forth was excellent and I am sure with some some better conditions the outcomes would have improved. I would not hesitate to recommend booking a hunt with Ross.
