Go somewhere else. Could copy and paste the 2014 review that you can find on this website. I would add very poor logistics and outifitting to the list.
Our crew was split in 4 parties, all composed of experienced hunters, professional guides, videographers and outfitters from Quebec. We came to BC to live a lifelong dream. We'd been promised horseback expeditions in exclusive areas and 50% success rate. Here are some of the things we experienced instead : - Guides bringing barking dogs on the hunt + we left them at camp on the last day, they came running full speed and barking as hunters had a bull in sight for the first time of the trip. - We mostly hunted roadsides in our guides' personnal vehicules often amongst many local hunters (the places where we saw elk the most were heavily hunted). - Only means of transportations were 2 ATVs and a mule backfiring and stalling each 100m as we approached the hunting spots - we shared those between 8 hunters and 4/5ish guides. - No horse trails had been open, resulting in a single half day expedition for a single party. Clearly, the horses are there for marketing purposes only. - Bushwalking for hours in unopened trails through 10ft high alders to sometimes promising spots, sometimes ridiculous areas impossible to glass, only to turn around and make it back to the lodge. Felt like the outfitter sent us to do his prospection! - Outfitter fast walking 300m ahead of us, often out of sight. - Outfitter flipping an ATV over, trapping a crew member and himself under it. Could have been square deadly. - And much more. I invite anyone considering a hunt with this outfitter to write me personally before booking. - Great cook, hard working guides, poor/deceptive hunting experience.
Was the outfitter notified of problems? - NO
