Gert Coetzee specializes in hunting plains game near the Etosha national park. Gert hunts over 30,000 acres owned by the family with 10 excellent pit blinds. Gert is a bowhunter himself and only runs bowhunters in his camp. Your group will be the only one in camp, even if you are hunting solo as I was. Excellent accommodations and food. Daily maid service. Perhaps the best place in Africa to hunt Damara dik-dik. Gemsbok, kudu, duiker, jackal, baboon, and warthog are very common. Eland are also present but tend to be quite elusive. Very reasonable daily rates and trophy fees. All animals are native and free-roaming. No stocked animals. No high fencing. You will be hunting water holes from very comfortable pit blinds with shots to the water being 12-15 yards. No supplemental feed in front of blinds. Traditional bowhunters are welcomed and encouraged to hunt here as well as those shooting compound bows.
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
During early July when I hunted you can expect high temperatures in the low 70's and low temps in the upper 40's.
