First time bear hunter. Very much enjoyed the time in camp and hunting while there. Ron, Jeannine, Pat, And Sean are great people that you hope to meet when traveling for a hunt. 6 hunters in camp 4 in my group. Everyone took a bear or had multiple opportunity's. Pat was the guide for 2 of us on the baits east of camp. My buddy had a large bear the first night with a sow that he wasn't sure on size until we returned to camp and looked a trail cam pictures and Ron asked if he was looking for a smaller bear. LOL He got the bear 2 nights later from the same stand. I on the other hand was the one in camp that wasn't seeing anything. Kept hunting hard and on the forth night seen three bears and took a boar. Cant wait to get back again this year to hunt and hear the sister in law story!
Erin and his group were the last guests at our camp for the 2017 spring hunt. They were the dream guests, every outfitter hopes to have in camp. They showed up laughing and had all of us in camp laughing steady. They were on holidays and made us part of their holiday. When you're tired at the end of a season, a group like this really picks you up! I would have them back in a heart beat with their understanding that this is a hunt and we're working for you, every day we wake up and "it" should happen with patience. In fact, we are having them back! I have the first week in June circled!
