Great guides, food and lodging. Good horses as well. Tough hunting due to warm weather in early season and perhaps the full moon that week. Saw plenty of bulls, mostly 5x5s, but as the week went on, they seemed to become less vocal and huntable. Out of 4 archers, 1 bull was taken and there were 4 or 5 missed shots. I was the only one that did not let an arrow fly. My only comment was that I thought we could have used the horses and boot leather to hunt harder and cover more ground to find cooperative elk. But then again, that may not have made any difference in the outcome.
