This was a great hunt and a great area. Extremely physical and would only recomend this to someone in optimum condition. Paul Converse is a hunter and a very good one. He knows the area like rhe back of his hand and did everything he could to make our hunt successful. But I repeat only hunters in peak conditioning should consider this hunt.
Cliff.... you clicked no under successful buddy when you actually killed a bull! Glad you had a great hunt. I knew you and Paul would be a good match. Also glad to know you are confident enough to re book as an unguided drop camp hunter this year. I’m sure you’ll do well in that area on your own. If you ever decide to skip the outfitter altogether and are interested in a DIY elk hunt plan either back in Montana or down in Wyoming let me know.
