This is the real deal Elk hunting in rugged terrain of N/W Montana. Spotted several 320-330 class bucks in the scope but was not able to close the deal, but at least they are out there. Overall 3 of 12 hunters took bulls. Many more had close encounters and shot opportunities developing. Not sure if the high temps or wild fires kept them from bugling much, but the Elk were quiet our week making for a harder than normal hunt. Lodging was clean and staff friendly. The guides were excellent and never gave up trying to get us on game.
