I was lucky enough to take my first ever black bear this spring with the help of Mike and his guides. Everything about this hunt was top notch from the food to the bears. Mike and the guides were supper knowledgeable and helpful with teaching you how to size a bear to insure you get the best bear. The guides all worked hard to get us on their best bears and we left with three awesome bears. My father took two bears, one coming in at 260lb with a 19-4/16 skull and the other tipping the scale at 420lbs with a 21-3/16 skull. I held out all week for my bear not shooting until the last evening of hunting killing a 260lb P/Y. I highly recommend this hunt to everyone I talk to, I will be returning in 2020 along with my father, brother, and some friends.
