This is a NF outfitter that actually understands and genuinely welcomes bow hunters. We did have some rain and wind, not sure if this made a difference on our hunt but I don't think it helped. 2 of the 3 hunters in our group killed bears. The remaining Hunter passed on a small bear. If our shooting had been better we would have added 2 more bears to the meat pole, one a whopper! Your license allows you to kill 2 bears. The food was excellent and plentiful, the camp warm and comfortable, the staff all friendly, honest and hard working. Otto Roberts gave us the impression that he probably cared about our success more than we did. They go 100% on caribou and near that for moose too. We saw lots of moose. I'd strongly consider Roberts for anyone wanting to hunt Newfoundland. They are also Pope and Young supporters, which goes a long way in my book.
