This is a really well run operation. I was met at the Windhoek airport, then spent a night in the nice guesthouse run by Jamy's wife Rentia. Flew next day to Katima Mullilo in the Caprivi strip. Was met by the PH Karel Grunschloss for the 1 hour drive to camp, sighted the rifles, and within an hour had taken a trophy size Reedbuck. A Red Lechwe and Impala came the next day. We took a 4 hour drive in the Land Cruiser, with some amazing deep water crossings (up to the windshield), to the Zambezi River just across from Botswana and I got my Cape Buffalo the afternoon of our arrival The camp on the Kwando River is great, with nice tents and real beds. They have solar power, so you don't have to listen to a generator, plus each tent has its own toilet. You can hear the hippos in the river from your tent at night. The camp cook is great. The PH Karel really works to get you your animal, plus is a wealth of knowledge about native birds, animal behavior, aim points, and all sorts of other stuff. Great hunt!!

Hot, but tolerable.
