Archery season was fairly warm during the pre-rut (Late October), but deer activity was picking up and Pete had several stands to hunt, based upon food source and wind direction. Some mornings were slow, but I enjoy putting my time in on stand, and BCBI has the stand locations to let a hunter enjoy the outdoors.
I had my chance's, but did not kill a buck...this time. 3 other bucks were arrowed in camp, 130" - 150"...that's always exciting to see!
I was able to go back for the late season archery hunt with my 7 y.o. son and we enjoyed hunting from ground blinds and seeing many deer.
