From the time I was picked up at the airport until I was dropped off I was extremely impressed with the entire Hammer family. It was evident from the beginning that Nick and his crew had done their homework and were ready to help us get it done. We were on elk at first light the first morning and I ended up shooting a decent 6x7 bull the first evening at a water hole. I stayed the rest of the week and just hung out, fished and glassed. We saw elk from camp everyday and were woken up every morning with bulls screaming. It was bitter sweet to tag out early, but I was happy to shoot my first bull.
