I have been hunting Elk for 7 years and this is the first Elk I have taken. Many backpack trips and horse back trips in National forest but never could seal the deal. Tried a place in New Mexico in 2013 but never got close enough for a shot. This place has 2 different hunts, trophy in high fence and free range. I did the free range. It was our second day of the hunt. It is primarily a spot and stalk with the guide doing most of the calling. Brad operates the ranch and also does some of the guiding. I was overall very pleased with the cabins and the hunt.
