Twelve day hunt for moose and bear. Weather affected ability to fly in on first day. Arrived in camp late morning of first day. Observed one trophy moose at distance as light faded on 1st day, too late for a stalk. Hunted that area next morning and saw 4 moose - 1 good bull but not P&Y caliber. Saw average of 3-4 moose per day. Some days more, 1 or 2 days none at all. That is hunting. Good proportion of bulls. Less than half were 10 - 16 pts. Others spike to 8 points. Did see one monster at almost two miles but he was across a river. Waited to afternoon of last day to take a bull that bedded down 600 yards away. Guide and cook did great jobs. I had a great time and will definitely be back.
