Nick runs a great camp. Lodging was outstanding and the atmosphere was very friendly. While many of you know EHD hit the SE area of Iowa 2 years ago, there were still plenty of quality bucks. I killed my 162" buck on day 4 and saw deer over the 140 minimum all 3 days prior.

Nick has over 6000 acres of leased private ground to hunt in Iowa with quite a variety of stands on crop field edges, travel corridors, hardwoods and food plots...it's truly a whitetail haven! Unfortunately the farmers were late harvesting their corn this year and that may have negatively impacted the hunting. However, the guys were still 7 of 11 killing bucks and another guy missed for 8/11 shot opportunity. My hunting partner also killed a nice 150 buck on day 5.

Nick and his guides work hard for their hunters. In fact on the 5th evening he allowed me to tag along to help hang a stand in the dark for another hunter based on the deer movement that hunter was seeing from his stand the previous day. That hunter arrowed a buck from that stand the next day.

The majority of guys in camp had previously hunted with Nick and we have already rebooked for 2017.
