I'm a bow hunter from Alabama and like to hunt trophy whitetails. I've hunted with Steve Phelps of Illinois Trophy Bowhunters Inc. for four years and will go again this year. In the four years I've taken one 150 inch eight point and hope to get the chance of a larger trophy. I've had shots at 120 to 150 inch deer and have seen very good trophy bucks that would not come in range. Illinois Trophy Bowhunters work very hard to place we hunters in position to get a shot, even moving you if the wind is wrong or to multiply stands. They know their land and how to hunt it and do everything to help you get a shot. ITB will educate you on what you need to bring and how to judge bucks before a shot. Its hard work hunting and so is guiding us, but the rewards of being in a good camp with fellow bowmen makes it worthwhile. I didn't score this year but my son did and I still have him beat with my 150 buck.
