I happened to run accross a negative review on ITB so I decided to submit a review of my own. I have archery hunted in Illinois now for 11 years. The last 6 have been with ITB owned by Steve Phelps.I have hunted on 4 different ITB farms and have been guided by four different guides, including Steve. All of my experiences with this Outfitter have created some great memories for me. Every guide that I have worked with has gone the extra mile to try to put a deer in front of me as well as all others in camp. These guys know the deer that live on these farms and if you listen to them you will have a good chance to fill that open space on your living room wall. They are constantly exploring new ways to better a hunters odds and it seems when plan A does not work, they always have a plan B. yes, I know that some of the farms may have a little better accommodations than others but if I wanted to walk on the red carpet or eat from a silver spoon I would probably go to a resort in Hawaii instead of a deer camp. Steve provides 6 1/2 day hunts for $2,800. It does not take alot of research to find out that his prices ar great and you get more than the average 5 days that most all other outfitters offer. I am not saying that cheaper is better but in this case, it is.At the end of your hunt you have not only met new people, you have made new friends. The only negative thing that I have found with Steve and his ITB group is that I have 47 more weeks until I can get back out there. I would reccommend giving them a try.
