This was my 2nd hunt with Adrenaline Outfitters. Rod put my on a beautiful (and big) chocolate color phase bear. He showed me a picture of the bear prior to heading out to the blind. The bear was coming in right at first light in the AM. I slept in a blind the first night and the bear was a no show at first light. The next day the plan was to do the same thing. I was going to spend the night in the blind. Well I went out a little earlier than planned. Sat for an hour and the bear shows up at 5:30PM. I watched him for 30 minutes before he finally presented a shot. Well all I can say is I choked on the shot. I hit him high in the back. We looked for 2 days to no avail. About a week later the bear showed back up on camera and appeared to be fine. I have my deposit to go back in 2 years and would have been back the following year if I did not already have a moose hunt booked with these guys. Overall it was a great hunt, I just wish I would have made a better shot.
