This was my first archery moose hunt. Bad weather the majority of the week with high winds for several days. Last day of the hunt I opted to carry a borrowed rifle supplied by Dave Evans. My freezer is FULL! Dave and Eilene run a top notch, second to none wilderness remote camp. Guides were fantastic as well as accomodations and food. I had the time of my life! Scotty and I finally connected at the end of my last full day to hunt. Scotty is an absolute workhorse. Having never hunted Newfoundland before, Scotty did everything in his power to ensure I had a great hunt...and I did! Thanks again Dave and Eilene. You both made me feel at home the entire week. Victoria Outfitters should be everyones destination to hunt moose and huge black bear.
