Hunter Comments
I recommend this outfitter

Quality outfitter, hands down. I have had the pleasure of being part of two outfitted hunts but have also had the opportunity to hunt on family property in Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, and indiana. This, without a doubt is absolute prime hunting property. The lodge is very comfortable, the cook is a local girl named rachel who literally didnt let a glass go empty, and the guides were all very personable. exceptional service is an understatement. They even took my bags in for me upon arrival.

We had 3 other customers in camp when we arrived, two of which were a father/son combo, which made for very nice accomodations being that we all had our own private rooms for this hunt. The farms are very reasonably located to the lodge. My farm was 15 minutes and the farthest I was told, was 25 mintues away. Plenty close enough considering 160-170 class bucks and a non-typical monster were seen on another repeat customers property. I was not fortunate enough to see a booner of that class, but was ecstatic to harvest a nice 8 point my second night.

Deer moved all day, averaging seeing probably 18-24 doe and 15-18 bucks. I sat from about 5:15 and didnt get down until after sunset on the night I arrowed my buck, the first day was a terrible cold front and drizzling rain in the mid-30's but didnt hamper movement any. Everything was organized as expected. Mark is a fair outfitter and adament about ensuring all hunters maximize time in the stand without disturbing others, regardless of whether they are day/night hunters or all day hunters. My guide was Chris, the younger gentleman mentioned in a previous negative report. He could not have done a better job. Very punctual, the guy busted his ass to be there if I needed something.

Please email me at [email protected] if you have any questions about my stay or report above.
