I recommend this outfitter
Only had four days to hunt elk and it was in the 80s all four days. Still, guide Dave Meers put us on elk every day and they were bugling fairly well, especially in the mornings. Unfortunately, they were very lackadaisical and hung up even when we used nothing but cow calls. Had one raghorn graze right up to 17 yards while we were being quiet and listening but he caught me drawing my bow and survived the encounter. Leon Brown has a very good operation and his wife, Molly, is the hardest working outfitter wife I know of.

It was hot, dry and crunchy, terrible conditions for elk hunting, but we saw several good bulls and almost pulled it off anyway.
