Wizard Lake Outfitting donated this hunt to the Pope & Young Auction at Denver. I was fortunate to buy it. Because of some cancellations I was able to recommend 3 other friends to book with Gunther Tondelier. Everything was FIRST CLASS with the accomodations, food, stands/ground blinds, attention to detail, and of course the incredible number of bears sighted. Everyone had opportunities to take their 2nd bear, and some did. One wolf was taken and others sighted. Nearby lake will make everyone a fishing pro ! Gunther is an incredible woodsman, person, guide, and bowhunter. Check out his personal bowkills of massive bear/whitetails/moose/cougar pix on his website, www.wizardlakeoutfitting.com. His remote tent camp is very comfortable and he furnishes ATV's to get you as far as 20 miles from camp. If you want to eat at Pizza Hut each night, keeping looking. If you require a reasonably priced action packed, high quality Black Bear experience, headed up by one of Canada's most knowledgeable and talented outfitters, you need to treat yourself to a Wizard Lake Outfitting Northern Alberta bear hunt ! My three friends were pleased and amazed with their hunt too. I hope to return soon, maybe on the occasion of my 60th year to bowhunt.

We had some rain, but it was a rare occurance. We had cool but not cold evenings in the stand (still some daylight at 10:30 pm). Wood stoves in tent were not really needed.
