Hunter Comments
I recommend this outfitter

Thought I'd finally post up a review of my combo hunt. Went on a January mule deer and javelina hunt in 2012. Got really close to some very nice mulies almost every day without releasing an arrow. Stalks were well planned and mostly worked out. I was surprised how easily the deer picked up on crunchy ground even with "sneaky feet." That was the supreme challenge. We saw multiple bucks in the 150-180 range. Got to chase javi's multiple times and finally put an arrow in a good one 2/3rds into the hunt.

Stayed at the outfitters house and with his family-absolutely top notch hospitality and food. I can't spell gourmet without spell-check but I know when I'm eating it. Having been on multiple guided hunts and my fair share of DIY's and drop camps, JP's operation was 2nd to none. I'm going back for round 2 at the end of the year and will span into 2013 (that means 2 deer tags!). This is my second hunt with Big Chino, the 1st one was an archery elk tag and even though I didn't get it done (my fault), I signed up to go back with JP and his boys Michael and Junior and will do so again.
