Yvon and his son Philippe run a top notch bear hunt. I have been hunting with La Griffe d'Ours for 2 years now and taken a quality bear each time. It doesn’t get much better than this. They treat you like family. The food is excellent, 3 delicious meals a day. It’s not your typical lodge, you stay in HIS HOUSE. It is a sportsman’s dream home. There are comfortable beds, hot showers, comfy couches, a recreational room with a pool table- you’re NOT roughing it at all. Outside there is a range to practice shooting your bow and just up the road you can check your gun. The actual hunting itself is awesome. I have seen numerous trophy bear on my hunts. Just the scenery alone is worth the trip. They do everything in their power to put you on a trophy bear. Listen to Yvon, he knows his stuff!
