BeaverHead Outfitters, Jack Diamond & Ken Swaim (now retired) are great guys that went all out to get me an opportunity. One day they asigned 2 guides to me. I hunted out of the lodge on a landowner tag in 16C it was the wettest August they ever have had, allmost 25" it rained 8 out of the 9 days during the hunt. To wet to hunt tanks, to early for alot of bugling, we worked hard for a Bull. I ended up taking a 5X5 at 6 yrds, not a 300+ but my 1st on my 1st Elk hunt. I will be back every year I draw & the years I can afford a LO tag if I don't.
