I hunted the second and final rifle hunt at Premier, and although the peak of the rut may have been over, I saw many bucks still chasing and hanging with the does. Although I did not see a 'booner', I did see many smaller bucks that may easily be 'booners' next year. The deer were plentiful as were the turkeys. My overall experience with outfitters is minimal, but I thoroughly enjoyed the hunt in its entirety. Mark and his staff are top-notch and always professional. The accommodations were more than I expected, the food was excellent, and the advice given to me each day from Mark and Jimmy were right on target. Although I did not harvest a 'booner' that I was after, I was pleased by the number of bucks I saw each day. During the four day hunt, it rained quite hard on two of the days, but the deer were still moving. Overall, I recommend Premier Outfitters to anyone interested in an opportunity to harvest a nice buck. I'm looking forward to returning to Premier in 2012.
