Let me start by saying Mike is a great guy and works hard at what he does,I will rate his outfitting business fairly with a scale of 1-10 and this is not just my opinion it was discussed with several of the hunters there that week.Only one shooter buck seen out of Six hunters, for Five days One deer shot but from the hunter's on admission it was not a shooter. Lodging(4), Food(7), Stand location(5),stand comfort(4), shooter bucks seen (0). Like I said Mike is good guy and his wife is a good cook and hope they have all the success in the world.

Robby, I first will say I really appreciated you and the rest of the fellas in camp the 1st week. And I agree it was slow as far as the 120 P&Y bucks and up as we call shooters here at the Wide Rack. But as you know I keep daily records and must say there were "two" shots taken that week at "Shooters". One from your group and Charlie Rehor who reported his hunt here on the Bowsite. This is a 33% shot oppertunity. This is the lowest Shot oppertunity we have ever had at the Wide Rack. And I must strongly make the point that no one admitted to me that either of these bucks shot at were below the 120 P&Y. As far as the next two weeks shot oppertunity & shooter bucks seen was 2nd week 50% shot oppertunity, 12 shooters seen. And the third week it was 66% shot oppertunity and 13 shooters seen. As one can see the rut just was a little later than normal. I believe you and your party expeienced the increase in the rut activity when you hunted the next county over from us the next week here in Ohio. I also have your initialed checklist here in front of me that tells me you were briefed along with all others about problems to be passed on ASAP. You did let me know you did not like the 1st morning stand because it did not fit your tall stature and I tried to move you to another sutible stand site. I really wish we could have had the chance to deal with the stand concerns. As far as the deer sightings and shot oppertunities I showed you many game camera pics of the bucks that were here. They are a free & wild roaming herd and I try to do my best to put them in front of the hunters. But as a 100% fair chase outfitter they just don't cooperate some weeks. As far as the lodging I know my new hunter facility I am building will be an improvement on the current safe & warm facilites. Robbie I am sorry you had such a bad experience here at the Wide Rack that you would not recommend us to others.
