Premier Outfitters of Western Ky. is the place to be !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hunt some where in the the midwest every year .I've hunted with some of the best ranked outfitters in mid-west mostly in North West Ill., Centeral Iowa , and Northern Mo.. Premier Outdoors is THE Place to be, It is the "BEST" Outfitter I have personally ever hunted with. The Owner Mark Clifford posses the attributes that every outfitter should strive for , His guides Eric , Jimmy and Brad are very professional and care about the success of there clients as well as there safety . My hunt Started as all hunts do meeting Brad the guide who assigned us to our bunk rooms , then shotly after that we met some of other hunters Including Brandon & Jodi of Reel Shot TV as well Kevin Reynolds of Whitetail Freaks . Which were a blast to be have around in camp . Then Guide Jimmy made a appearance introduced himself checked to make sure everyone was comfortable and all accomadtions were complete . Rachelle the Chef and head of house keeping made her appearance checked with everyone to make sure everyone was comfortable, She preparered some of best home cooked meals that I've ever had . One thing that realley impressed me with Rachel was EVERYONE had a hot meal no matter what time you came in from the hunt , the lodge was kept sparkling clean as well . Later that evening shortly after dark Mr. Clifford & Head Guide Eric showed up from Glassing and introduced themselves . Then Mr. Clifford introduced everyone to their guides I happen to draw head guide Eric , the mornings were slow the evenings were explosive the deer were everywhere , day two on my evening hunt I had in front me EXACTLY what Mr. Clifford had told me about me three shooters !!!!!! A 125 8pt. a mid 130 10 and a 140-150 5-6 yr old 8 pt which I managed to get a Grim Reaper in, as the recovery started we were forced to back out due to severe thunder storms as the buck was not recovered immediately , myself and all guides made the search while other hunters were on stand . The next morning on a doe stand I had a encounter with one of Mr. Clifford's Booners probally mid 180 class buck, at the time I was the only hunter camp that had filled a buck tag, all I got to was watch for about an hour . Weather was not a factor for this time of the year , although the Full moon phase did effect some of the stand we could hunt in the morning.
