This was the first trip to Africa for both my wife and I. My hunt was purchased at auction in 2010 and I hadn't done a lot of research on the outfitter prior to purchasing the hunt, which is unusual for me. However, the experience more than exceeded our expectations. Harry and his family are wonderful people and run a first class operation, with attention to detail permeating throughout the entire business, from the quality of the lodge, food and rooms, to the exceptional property and game management! Harry's hunting experience and tracking ability are truly phenomenal, and a pleasure to experience as well. We are already talking about a return trip, which in my mind, is the best recommendation we could give to African Arrow Safaris!

The weather was consistently good, with hights in the upper 60's most days. Cool mornings were the norm and that, coupled with wind on one or two mornings, did seem to limit game movements early. But by mid morning, things would warm up which would lead to increased game activity.
