Top notch operation, everything from lodge, meals, properties, people and overall environment. I harvested my Buck on one of the windiest weeks on record "50 mph winds". Can't say enough about Full Draw Hunts, we will be back next year.
Terry, thanks for the positive review of Full Draw Hunts. After guiding for someone else for several years, I was basically shown how NOT to run an outfitting business and we're now using that experience to make sure that each and every client of Full Draw has the best possible chance at a world class whitetail and knows that we personally care about their hunt.
As for your hunt, you're right the weather conditions were horrible with winds gusting to 58 mph. We basically lost 3 out of the 5 days to high winds and still ended the week with one great buck and another miss on a stud which should have given us a 33% success rate during a very poor week.
All in all, I'm glad to hear you guys had a great time and were happy with how Full Draw Hunts is operated. Our small camps and extremely low pressure strategies allow us to do things most outftters can't. I'm already looking forward to 2011.
Lousy weather, 50 mph winds 80% of the week. Can't change mother nature!
