Hunter Comments
I recommend this outfitter

This is the second time I've hunted with Gary Frye. The first was a hog hunt. After putting in for the Georgia gator lottery for 3 years I was drawn. I went back to him because of my first experience. Lodging and food were not provided as we had discussed that prior to our hunt. We hunted Gators from a boat with our bows. We saw about 30 gators before deciding which one I would harvest. Gary was patient and never seemed to get annoyed even when I missed on my first shot. He knows his way around the river and put us on gators ranging from 2 feet up to about 10 feet. My arrow pulled out of the 10 footer but Gary just keep on encouraging us to keep going. I eventually harvested a 7 footer. After the harvest Gary skinned my gator and butchered the meat as well. I can't say enough about the quality of this man. I will be back down to Georgia to hunt again with Gary. He is a safe, ethical guide who I would recommend to anyone. Also just so all know, this was my 12th guided hunt so I kinda do know what Im looking for and what is good and whats not so good. If you get the chance go with Gary from Happy Acres Expeditions
