I recommend this outfitter
This is one of several hunts I've been on with this outfitter over the past three years. Though this was a rifle hunt for bear, I've also take spring bear with them, with my bow. I've also successfully hunted mule deer, whitetails and elk with them. The country is big and can be brutal if not in top physical condition. Weather can be harsh, in spring as well as the fall. The knowledge of the outfitter and guide are top-notch. I'll be taking my family back again in 2010 for spring and fall bear, as well as deer. They're a hard-working crew whom I can't get enough of...they know their stuff!

Weather Comments:
Heavy snow and severe cold slowed bear movement, but when it lifted, bears were thick. Every hunter in camp had shot opportunities.
