I recommend this outfitter

This was my 3rd moose hunt with Moose Valley. This time I took an 8 point moose on the morning of the 1st day. The moose was average, but I was really hunting for meat this time, so I went for it. The spot and stalk was great, with about 4 hours of climbing and Darren, my guide, then calling him out of the woods. In 2008 I had taken a 45 inch bull, also with Darren, so I did not expect to top that this time. Dean McDonald has a great operation. I was at Chuck's Pond, which has a very clean and comfortable camp with excellent food, compliments to Reg. Darren is a terrific guide, with a real magic touch in calling moose. In each of the 3 years I have taken a bull in the first 2 days of the hunt. The caping and handling of the meat are done very well, and this time Dean actually picked up the meat from the butcher and met me with it at the float plane base, after I had to leave early. Because of that, I made it to the early ferry and got home on time. I would give Moose Valley the highest recommendation possible.
