Hunter Comments

I had a very good hunt and was able to harvest a nice bou on the first day of the hunt. I was fortunate enought to harvest the largest stag out of a group of 5 stags and 22 does. The weather was poor with rain and fog but it didn't affect the hunt much. The camp was very nice and the cook was outstanding. My guide Tim was very fun to hang around and we communicated very well. He was kind enough to show me the countryside and some local towns during the remaining days. I did discuss the possibility of hunting moose the remainder of the trip but ultimately decided against it as the weather forecast was poor. I kind of regret not getting that moose tag as there seemed to be many around. I saw 8 moose from the lodge including two small bulls. The outfitter Cog picked me up at the airport in Deer Lake and made arrangements for my return to the airport as well. Had a great time!

Hi Guys just like to thank Ned for his report and to acknowledge the support of the people who work with us.Ned obiously had a great hunt, but as i've said before, hunter attitude is a part of the whole experience and we were fortunate to have guys like Ned again this year who have a great perspective on what hunting is all about.A chance to meet new people see some awesome country ,animals and make some new friends.
