Outfitter, was likable. He did'nt communicate well. The food was poor. He did'nt seem to know how to kill a big bull with archery. He was defensive when asked to explain hunt plans.
Was the outfitter notified of problems? - YES
As Outfitters we should be able to rate hunters. Some of them are just unguideable as is the case with Bill Mcguire. Bill is a self proclaimed expert at elk hunting and did not think that i had any experience in the area that he hired me for. although he had no knowledge of the elk and patterns and behaviors of elk in my area even though bill himself made many mistakes as we all do. I do have a record of past hunts and clients in these areas and have never had any bad experiences with clients or the ability to harvest elk. in 25 years in the outfitting business bill is the first client i ever asked to take his money and go home if he didnt want to get along with me, which by the way he never paid me the 2nd 1/2 deposit and was in breach of contract. Take this for waht it is worth to you and thank you for allowing me to write a reply. If you want to follow up with my track record or operation please check my website or yuo can even call some of my clients. thanks, sincerely, Chris Jurney Chris Jurney Outfitting cjoutfitters.com 970-824-5505
