My wife and I harvested a black bear and cow with a bow on this trip. We also killed a small bow with a rifle (borrowed from guide). A tough week of hunting, but very positive, memorable experience. Hiked 10+ miles a day up and down mountains, spotting and stalking caribou (and a bear). We missed 2 good bulls and an exceptional bull with a bow (judging distance was a challenge for rookie "spot & stalkers" like us). JHA has a very well-thought-out methodology for what they do. We have plans to return in 2012.
