A buddy and I just spent 2 days hunting whitetail and hogs with Allen Williams at Dos Plumas. If you have not been there or are looking for an extremely affordable archery hunt for deer, exotics, rams or pigs, this is your place. Mr. Williams and his staff go above and beyond and really took super care of us during our hunt. Unfortunately, a cold front was blowing in (and I do mean blowing in!) and we were not successful as defined by the kill. But it was not because of a lack of good bucks in range. We were successful, however, in making some new friends, seeing a lot of game animals, loads of quail, some really good shooter bucks and great accomodations! We will be heading back before the whitetail season ends in Tx.
These folks take care of their country and game animals and provide a hell of a good hunt that the average Joe can afford. I certainly recommend them.

John and D.J. were a blast to have in camp. We really enjoy having those who have a great attitude. I remember how D.J's heart was pounding when we stalked within just feet of hogs at night. He got the shot and connected but the blood trail thinned out, lost hog. Old "mother nature" reared her ugly head and the wind really picked up. Both John and D.J. stuck it out to have deer pass just out of bow range. We look forward to there return and to have another chance at those crafty deer.
