Bowhunter's Paradise

I went to Bowhunter's Paradise, with high hopes after seeing all of the positive reviews and comments along with the Hunter Success Pictures on the website. I have to tell you that they were met and exceeded. I have all ready booked for next year at least once, maybe twice if I can convince my wife!!! There were 4 of us in camp and we took 6 animals. With better shot placement by 3 of us we would have 3 more hogs. Jim, I promise I learned my lesson on this one!!! I will only take quartering away or broadside shots from here on out!!! I actually think Belle was laughing at what I went through!!! I had a blast on my 2 spot and stalks even though the sika does busted me on the hog stalk and the rams slipped us in the canyons. I saw wild game each time on stand with the minimum being 2 whitetail does and 3 hogs. If you are at the right place at the right time you will have shot opportunities, but you must be on your game to seal the deal. I was the only one not to take an exotic or goat/ram but I assure Jim was more disappointed than me. I had a 'Wild Time' that will last me until next year! Jim is truly a salt of the earth guy and truly goes out of his way to take care of each customer. You really leave a friend! He cooked one of the hog hams from the hog I shot and it was out of this world and even the auodad steaks he cooked were awesome. Jim thank you so much for a piece of 'Paradise'. I had a great time Bowhunting with you Roger--the Spot & Stalks were great fun; next time I guess. Thank you for penning such a wonderful report--I acknowledge that we do work hard for our Bowhunters; but it is humbling to see the response to what we offer here in Paradise....who wouldn't be fun to be around if they got to do what I get to do for a living everyday--now some might call it work; but I've gotta admit it sure is fun gett'n to Bowhunt everyday. It was actually cool in the mornings warming up to high 80's in the afternoon but the box blinds kept you comfortable.
