The facilities at Shiloh are a little rustic (Matt says it is a hunting camp, not a hotel), but the property is EXCELLENT in terms of hogs! They are working on a nearby house that will be available for hunters for a small nightly fee if you want something a little less rustic.
Matt and Cheryl go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Being June, the weather was HOT, but that didn't affect the hogs. Everyone in camp had multiple shot opportunities. Tree stands are set up over feeders with typical shots under 20 yards. You can also bring your own tree stand and set it up if you wish. That can be useful in case the wind is blowing from an unusual direction.
Lodging but not food is included in the cost. For an extra fee, Cheryl will provide you with some good home cooking. The town of Ada is within 30 min. and Matt knows a good Mexican restaurant. If you bring your own food, there is a cook shack to work in.
IMHO, if you hunt Shiloh and follow Matt’s advice, you WILL get shot opportunities. The hardest part is getting those hogs to stand still broadside!
Ken, thanks for taking the time to report your view of Shiloh Ranch. Cheryl and I are bowhunters and we try to offer what bowhunters are looking for in a hunt. Not to fancy, but yet concentrate on the hunt and the quality of that hunt.

It was hot (90+) in June. Maybe not unusual for Oklahoma but warm for this Colorado boy. It did not affect shot opportunities, only my comfort in the stand. Maybe I'm just a wimp.
