Hunter Comments

Sorry did not get the comments in on the first review. Dos Plumas ranch is an excellant hunting ranch. There are plenty of animals and many chances to take a shot if you play your cards right. My father and I decided to try the spot and stalk method and it paid off. We left the ranch worn out from all the walking but extemely satisfied. The ranch is great, the lodging is great and although we did not choose to have our meals supplied the other guys in camp said that they were taken care of in that department. I have read many reviews on Dos Plumas Ranch and all have one thing in common and that is how Allen Williams makes you feel at home. After just a few minutes of talking with Allen you feel as if you have known him all your life. We will be back.

Ross ans his dad Sabino, came to hunt with us this past weekend and had a very exciting hunt. Ross started the hunt off the first evening by sticking a hog that unfortunatly was lost.The next morning they were doing a little spot and stalk and got upon some nice rams.Sabino was able to score but poor Ross was skaking so bad he said the arrow flew about 3 feet over the ram he was shooting at.Talk about buck fever....lol.These guys were great to have in camp for the simple reason they were here to hunt and not harvest. All they really asked for was to have the opportunity to get a shot. That kind of attitude is always a pleasure to deal with. Now don't get me wrong I love success thats why I tell folks that " My success depends on their success " but sometimes it just dosen't come together.When it does though, it makes it that much sweeter.We look forward to having Ross and his dad Sabino, back soon.
