Soybeans

Soybeans are a warm season annual legume that is highly preferred by deer - especially at the onset of emergence. They are so preferred that most small acreage plantings will be killed quickly by deer grazing pressure unless fenced or sprayed with a repellant. Soybeans do best on well drained soils and can tolerate a lower PH than many other legumes.
