I just got my results back. organic Matter up 30%, potassium up 50%. That will save me about 90# of nitrogen fertilizer. For bulk urea that is $80. The cost of the test was $20 with shipping. return on investment 400%

Yep, you got to know what you’re starting with, otherwise you could be wasting a lot of time and money on improper applications. This concept is true whether it’s a golf course green or a garden…

Overall buying in bulk and getting just what I need is going to save me $154 for my 2 acre plot compared to using 19-19-19.

Very cool…

A soil test is the cheapest expense of all the money you will spend on a food plot. It’s also way up there in the importance scale. As mgmicky said, you got to know what you’re starting with, and I’ll add…..or you’re not gonna get there.
