Hey all, I’m new here, I have an 1/8 acre food plot that I plan to plant winter rye, winter wheat, and Durana clover in. What seeding rates do y’all recommend for this? I was thinking 50lbs/ac rye, 50lbs/ac wheat, and 8lbs/ac clover. This is a small plot so that’s why the seeding rates are heavier. What do y’all think?

Thanks in advance

I would cut all of your rates by half, at the very least. Even at that, you’re plenty heavy.

Ok thanks

Are you planning to broadcast or drilling the seed?

I am broadcasting it. The plot is on a slope so some of the clover seeds tend to wash even after cultipacking. The rye/wheat i till into the ground and then cultipack.

Probably 20 lbs max for the grasses and 4 lbs clover is all you need any more is overkill for no reason good luck Lewis
