Growth Results
I like planting brassicas in this plot so I put together my own concoction that consisted of austrian peas, radishes, turnips, annual clover, and left over soybeans. This plot grew into a lush field with almost no effort.
Activity Results
I killed 3 deer from the same stand in this plot. One of them was a 5.5 year old PY buck. Activity here was excellent.
Comments
It doesn't take a genious to figure out that many of the fancy deer blends are nothing more than what I put together with small amounts of brown bag varieties in ten minutes. You just take sit down with a piece of paper and figure out the proper ratios. I like to combine brassicas with annual clover, peas, and a grain.
