MEMBER BENEFITS:
Publications: Subscription to SCI's colorful, award-winning magazine "Safari" (published seven times a year), as well as our SCI newspaper "Safari Times", published monthly. This carries news of interest to the hunter/conservationist. It tracks legislation affecting wildlife conservation and hunting, covers Chapter and Club events and reports on people and trends.
Record Book: SCI's Record Book of Trophy Animals provides a copyright, worldwide standard of measurement and trophy scoring for all of the world's huntable big game species. There are more than 3,000 SCI measurer's throughout the world (several are Golden State Bowhunter members). There is also the SCI World Bowhunting Book, specifically designed for the Bowhunter. A special Awards program is available to all those SCI members interested, which is based on specific hunting achievements.
Hunting Reports: hunt report files and database are an invaluable resource for National, International and Chapter members. Evaluations from members on outfitters, guides, locations, and game populations are maintained at SCI and are available to members.
Hunter Hotline: This service provides information about the status of species, on hunting, and governmental activities that affect hunting anywhere in the world.
Financial and estate planning: SCI is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation, thus donations to SCI are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Tax, financial and estate-planning information is available at no charge to members.
Trophy Insurance: Members are eligible to purchase insurance covering the loss of valuable mounted trophy animals. Policies cover replacement cost, including licenses, travel and guides' fees.
Firearms Insurance: North American members may purchase custom gun floater insurance, covering firearms and equipment at home or when traveling.
Association credit cards: North American members are eligible for VISA cards bearing the SCI logo, upon qualification.
SCI Gift Center: a catalogue is printed twice a year for members to purchase clothing and accessories with the official insignia of SCI.

HOW TO JOIN:
By joining Golden State Bowhunters, you will become a member of SCI and Golden State Bowhunters for an INTRODUCTORY annual dues of $45.00. Affiliate memberships are available to spouses and minor children (under 18) of a regular member for $10.00. You will obtain a chapter membership, newsletter and opportunity to become involved in our Chapter meetings and events. SCI benefits are included with the membership to Golden State Bowhunters. SCI benefits include membership in one of the premiere hunting organizations in the world, monthly "Safari Times" subscription and an introductory issue of Safari magazine. This is an introductory membership to introduce you to our club. This offer is valid to 12-01-99. We welcome you to join our chapter of Safari Club International.
