Isn't nutsedge the same as chufa? Wouldn't that be considered generally good and desirable, especially if you have turkeys around?

I wish it put out the “nuts” chufa did but it doesn’t.That would keep me from planting chufa.Lewis

Sedgehammer or halosulfuron generic equivalent. Make sure you read the label-most will tell you to add a particular surfactant. Without the right surfactant control won’t be nearly as good.

Permit Herbicide will kill it. Down side are the costs and there is like a 10 month period where you cannot plant new clover (won't germinate it believe). I bought the dry mix bottle. Lasted me several years.
I like to frost seed the following spring, so I spray in April/May so I can frost seed into the existing plot the following March.
