THey say one thing bad eagles do really well is fight. Looks like a mature one is blowing an immature one off the carcass.

Troy...real bird....it must have had to be a sequence as no cam has that fast a trigger time. I imagine the cat won!

smarba, is that elk running away with an arrow in him? Or it this a picture of porkypine meets elk? Fisher maybe?
By:

No arrow in the elk.
Black bear (brown phase) in the tree. Not sure how the scenario played out, but the cam definitely caught the elk in action. Maybe the bear was in the tree and spooked the elk, or maybe they scared each other.

I will end it with this one. I took this photo about 2 1/2 weeks ago. The buck had just dropped his antler. I cropped it very close for this post so you could really see what it looked like. Notice the blood on the pedestal and the small amount that ran down the top side of his head between his ear and his eye. He could not had lost that antler much more than an hour or so from the time I took this photo.
Hello to all my friends here at the Bowsite. I hope you are all doing well.
And I hope you all have a great bow hunt. BB

Me and a bear. I put out a couple cameras on my property. As I was walking back to my car, I passed this camera. I heard a noise, looked over and a bear stood up. I was reaching for my .45 when the picture was taken. Be well all, Jay

This grizz spent 9 hours eating and then burying the elk carcass.
The pic was taken in the Thorofare area just south of YNP
