148 he carries his mass all the way through, an with the little junk i can see it going a little higher into the low 150s..

I have him an 18 in spread, 45 in for beam length, 34 mass, 30 in of times on left, 21 on right. I could have been a hair generous on time length. 148 my initial post of 149 was a guess.

This is a main frame 4x4...Look at the overhead, I don't think the beams aren't over 20. Total on the tines would be 48 max, closer to 45 and that is being generous. I still say closer to 140 than 150. 22 spread? C'mon man...I've scored a ton of 150 inch deer and if this is one, that's a deceiving photo. For a 4x4 to hit 150, those G2's and 3's need to be pushing a foot long. On this one, even for gross, keep in mind the G4 on the left is a plus and minus, net zero.
Tines = 45, Beams = 40, Mass = 33, Spread = 18
Generous 136 plus junk.
Someone kill'em and prove us low guys wrong....

Part of the issue on these "gross" score theads is that we get a mix of "gross" score and "total" antler. This one doesn't make a big difference, as the 5th on the left is pretty short.

I usually base ears on 15" and these ears fit just inside the rack so 18" max possibly 17" inside spread. But mainly I see average beams and good mass.

Trial153 this is what a 20" spread looks like. No way this thread's buck has 22". 18 seems about max.

For fun and reference...Here's a random deer taken by someone somewhere that grosses 153 and change and nets a hair over 150... It takes a WHALE of a main frame 4x4 to get to 150.

While some of us may disagree on the score one thing is for sure...it only takes 4" of disagreement for an excuse up post pictures of yourself. Ego has no bounds.

ouch...if someone knows how to edit out my face, go for it...my point was that all three deer of these deer score less than 90% of the guesses here, (some by almost 20 inches) yet I am pretty sure those three deer have better attributes than the subject deer. (Not to take anything away from the subject deer as it is a very nice deer) If I wanted to "boost my ego"...I would've put pictures of big deer on here.
Time to go hunting...I think I'll stay out of the scoring threads for awhile...
